The Lost Amulet

Miao girl Su Yan, born into a southern border witch-doctor family, possesses her clan's secret Immortal Gu, capable of reviving the dead—but only once in a lifetime. Three years ago, she used it to save Prince Yu Jiuyuan, who was assassinated during a rebellion. Before parting, the prince gifted her his jade pendant, pledging to marry her. However, Su Yan lost the pendant during wartime. When he never returned, she secured an imperial decree to wed him. On their wedding night, Yu Jiuyuan arrived with another woman, Chu Yunrou, who had found the pendant and claimed Su Yan's identity as his savior. Unable to speak due to the Gu's backlash, Su Yan watched helplessly as her love and sacrifice were stolen...
