Sword Vow

Cedric Veytan claimed a top-ten rank at the Valen Sword Convocation before a Sky Rift unleashed the slaughtering Darkwing Horde. Lord Valyr sealed the rift with his life, and Cedric fled out of fear. Twenty years later, he reclaimed his bravery to slay the horde's leader and saved the realm, then left to stop future invasions.
