Life-and-Death Rescue at the Mine

Poor undergrad Zhang Qiaoqiao, sponsored by benefactor Xu Ling, lands a job at Yi Ling Mine. On day one, Chairman Wu Yu mistakes her for his wife and gives her a diamond ring. Emboldened, she begins misusing power—humiliating Xu Ling, pushing risky explosives. Safety chief Xu Feng objects and is forced out. He sneaks underground to fix faulty detonators, but Zhang insists on blasting. The mine collapses, burying Xu Feng—a disaster in the making.
